FLYING 4 At Lott Fence we have our standard fasteners for most of our fencing and we have specialty fasteners for certain styles of fences. Please call to get the exact details because we do not put this information on the internet. We will tell you here some of the types of fasteners that others use that Lott Fence will not employ. We do not use nails or screws that are too long or too short. We will not use wood screws where lag screws are necessary. We do not use galvanized or coated fasteners that will bleed/stain our wooden pickets or finishes. Lott Fence never uses smooth shank, ring shank, barbed shank or factory reject nails. We spend the extra money on better fasteners for both aesthetics and binding. Fasteners are the "glue" that holds things together, but types of woods that have greater withdrawal resistances are just as important. | |||||||
